History
1924 Born in Niigata Pref., as sculptor Bidou Takigawa's fifth Child
1927 Moved to Nagano Pref. as mounter Manjirou Numata's adopted son.
1942 Graduated Nagano technical school electrical department.
1944 Conscripted and went to China.
1946 Demobilized and came up to Tokyo to become a painter.
1947 Studied in Gorou Turuta and Tuguji Fujita, artists of Western painting.
1973 Studied in calligraher Etudou Takeda . Pen-name became Gyokudo Numata.
1975 Studied in Ryusyougai Mochizuki,seal engraving artist
1982 Studied in Masato Seki,seal engraving artist
1987 Won Excellent Work Prize in MAINICHI SYODOU Exhibition Seal Engraving Section
1988 Won Mainichi Prize in MAINICHI SYODOU Exhibition Seal Engraving Section
1989 Became a member of MAINICHI SYODOU KAI incorpolated foundation
1990 Established YAMATOINKAI, a meeting of Japanese seal and calligraphy.
2002 Retired MAINICHI SYODOU KAI incorpolated foundation.
Changed his pen-name to Gyokudo Taki
2006 Entered the SAKNEI international SYO association
Became a councilman
At present presides over [MAHORA-SYA]
